My husband who was always yelling at me (40’s female, Saitama)

I was in agony in the relationship with my husband. Memories that would even cling to straw. I received the diksha.

As the practice progressed, I became aware that I was always demanding on my husband, such as, “Do this and that for me.”

My husband is a detailed person. So he was often criticizing my laziness. I was also criticizing him for his preciseness.


Soon after I attended a seven-day meditation camp, I took away a bath mat by mistake while my husband was still taking a bath. He found no bath mat afterwards and was saying, “oh, the mat has gone somewhere” in a humorous way. Usually, he would have been mad at me.

We are no longer criticizing each other. Our life became peaceful.

The workplace I hated became a different world (50’s male, Tokyo)

It’s been more than ten years since I met Yogmata for the first time.

A huge workload, unfair speech and actions by my superior, irritation at colleagues who were not cooperative with me, exhaustion by overtime work till late… I hated my workplace at that time. I hated my superior and colleagues. I was always thinking that I wanted to quit.


In such a time, not only through meditation, through Darshan and many different workshops and seminars, Yogmata taught me a lot about how to deal with work and everyday life.

At the beginning, I could not do what I was told to do, saying, “I understand, but I hate what I hate” or simply, “I can do that.” However, as I kept practicing, my energy inside might have changed gradually.

Now, I am still with the same company, but I changed to a completely different person.

I feel love for my superior and colleagues that I considered as enemies before. Colleagues became cooperative. I no longer worry about the future. I feel security everyday.

Even when trouble occurs, I can say “everything is alright” and remain calm.

Now I think that I was hurting myself badly by being worried or irritated.

Now, whatever happens in daily life, inside my mind remains calm and peaceful. Not only at work, I always feel secure in any human relationship. I am truly grateful for that.

As Yogmata always tells us, we do not get that way by changing the environment. It can be obtained only by changing our inside. I feel so fortunate to have met Yogmata from the bottom of my heart. I deeply appreciate it.

My father was always tired being nice to others, but he tried to look like everything was fine. Now he seems to be more vigorous and grounded.

People make demands on others for their kindness or likability. You might have awareness of dislike for people who were harsh to you. You cannot be obedient to them. Everybody has their pride and does not want to be dictated to by others.

If you experience such a thing many times, your feeling of dislike will be strengthened, then you will see only the negative aspects of the person for your own self-protection. You might even withdraw into a shell.

If the relationship is a good one, you can move forward. You can give good impressions to others without making special effort. To become such a person, your inner-self should be stable and peaceful. It would be even better if love for the world flowed over you.
